 Pale Crawler and Wendigo connection?

One Cryptid (if we can really classify them as such) that seems be gaining a lot of popularity are the Pale-Crawlers. I've seen numerous channels touch on them, each with their own spin and take on the mythos and lore behind them. While most of these channels only cover the basics, It seems to be an increasing belief that these pale skinned Humanoids are Demonic in origin. BUT...What if I told you that not all customs and beliefs hold them as evil Demonic creatures?

To some of the Indigenous tribes, These pale Humanoids were seen in a completely different light. Known as the Ghu-got, or, "The People before the people", there's a few variations on the lore behind these beings. Some oral traditions maintain that they stem from our dreams; This is to suggest that they stem from our world beyond our world. Which does kind of hint at a possible interdimensional origin. I may be of a rare breed here, But I do not believe that if a being or creature is interdimensional is it necessarily Demonic. Another belief is that they were of an original tribe that simply denounced the ways of Humanity and took to residing within the caves and tunnels located around the states.

According to the lore, They range from 5 to even 7 (or in some cases, 9 feet tall.). The skin is usually a chalk white, a light grey or a pinkish white color. Body hair seems to be extremely scarce on them. Some stories tell of them being able to mimic a crying baby or laughing children. They are said to be extremely agile. It is believed by some that they hide in trees. While not overly aggressive, it is said that bonfires/campfires or people smoking outside offends them. Allegedly, this is an insult or taunt to them. It is also held within this belief that the destruction of trees or heavily forested areas angers them.

Similar to what some researchers say in regards to Sasquatch, they are fond of tobacco. No, this doesn't mean that you can offer them cigarettes and all will be well. They are fond of loose tobacco. Preferably any type that hasn't been saturated in chemicals or synthetic flavoring.

Often, these Pale-Humanoids are mistaken for Skinwalkers---which personally, I find incredibly strange. The physical depiction is nothing like the description of the Skinwalkers. BUT...It does share traits with another entity that I am quite fond of researching: The Wendigo/ Wettiko. If you dismiss the Stag headed, fur covered hulking beast that most portray when speaking of the Wendigo and pay closer attention to the ACTUAL lore, These Pale Humanoids share a lot in the way of physical depiction:

-Tall and lanky. Almost emaciated in appearance.

-Sharp teeth and fingernails.

-A hairless body.

-Deep sunken eyes that often appear like black wells or voids.

-The alleged ability to mimic noises. (Though this ability was NOT featured in the original lore as far as the Wendigo is concerned.).

While I'm not saying that these Pale Humanoids are responsible for the Wendigo itself. It DOES seem to fit logic that those who claim to have Wendigo encounters in areas where Wendigo are not known to frequent, these Pale  Humanoids seem a more likely culprit. I think when researching things like this, one thing we should really try to keep in mind is this: Simply because it's not from the world we know, does not mean that it's evil or Demonic. It does not mean that these beings are not natural. After all, we live in a very supernatural world. Amazing things happen all the time. Sometimes we can explain things away with the science we now have, and sometimes, that science is incomplete and can not give us the answers to such perplexing mysteries.

Just a little something for everyone to digest and ponder

Time to take a look at the Pale-crawlers..or the Ash-Men. Or, as some of the tribes called them the Ghu-Got (pronounced Goo-Go). It seems ...
